Freeblade (Fighter Archetype): Freeblades are Fighters not trained in any particular style. Each has a set of skills as unique as the stories of how they got them. These individuals are usually not tied to any group or cause for very long, though their wide experience and unpredictable skill set make them valuable allies while they stay. Many of them are soldiers of fortune, but others just like to wander or have their own quests to pursue.
Specialist (Rogue Archetype): "Specialist" is a polite term used by polite people. Specialists are individuals brought in to do a job. Payment usually includes three line items: the job, forgetting that there ever was a job, and disappearing. They live on the edges of society, maintaining just enough of a connection to be contacted for work, but not enough to be found by any competent authority. Most are loners constantly on the move, but a few have managed to live double lives or hide in plain sight amongst the common folk of the world.
Troubadour (Shaper Archetype): A Troubadour is not an average wandering minstrel playing for a hot meal and a bed for the night. This individual has cultivated the art of music and now practices it using an imbued instrument. These instruments are rare and handed down through families or from master to pupil over generations. Each of these instruments has a pedigree of its own and is laced with tralaticon. When played, it resonates with the Element Makeup of the player and projects those elements out along with the sound, affecting audiences to their cores in a way pure sound cannot. Troubadours do this, of course, but by some unknown process these rare individuals are able to take this a step further: when they play certain songs, songs that have stood the test of time and are embedded deeply into the unconscious of humanity, the characters in the songs come to life and act out their parts in the drama.
