Mud Mastery

Description

Prerequisite: 1 Earth, 1 Water

Range: 60 ft
Duration: Lower of Earth or Water modifiers, Rounds
Shaping Time: 1 Round
Concentration: No

Shaper targets a location. The area within a 15 ft radius centered on that location becomes Difficult Terrain. Passing an Earth or Air saving throw while traversing this area negates this effect.

Quicksand

Description

Prerequisite: 3 Earth, 3 Water

Range: 60 ft
Duration: Lower of Earth or Water modifiers, Rounds
Shaping Time: 2 Rounds
Concentration: No

Shaper targets a location. The area within a 20 ft radius centered on that location becomes Difficult Terrain. An Earth saving throw is required each round a character is inside the affected area. Passing the saving throw allows movement through the Difficult Terrain. However, failing the saving throw forces the character to sink into the muck and become Immobilized until they pass a saving throw or the duration expires.

Sinkhole

Description

Prerequisite: 5 Earth, 5 Water

Range: 60 ft
Duration: Lower of Earth or Water modifiers, Rounds
Shaping Time: 3 Rounds
Concentration: No

A 25 ft radius centered on the target location becomes Difficult Terrain. An Earth saving throw is required each round a character is inside the affected area. Passing the saving throw allows movement. However, failing the saving throw forces the character to sink into the muck and become Immobilized. Failing another saving throw sinks them completely under and they begin suffocating. Put simply, failing a saving throw sinks a character down until they are submerged and passing allows movement or pulls a character one level out of the muck.
